A customer in the pharmaceutical sector requested a versatile solution for multiple applications, at the same time having strict noise level requirements. A T225 Sanitary diaphragm pump can handle alcohol, herbal macerate, and glucose-fructose syrup. Putting it on a trolley made it mobile, allowing easy access to different parts of the facility.

At a certain point the biggest noise is generated by the valve balls and not the decompressing air coming out of the muffler, therefore the need to silence the whole pump. The outcome was a noise reduction box, lowering noise below 75 dB(A).
